Bridge Financial Technology Expands Leadership Team, Names Industry Veteran Christopher Haley as Board Chairman

Key additions enhance continued ability to provide software that increases advisors’ efficiency, builds stronger client relationships

Bridge Financial Technology, the leading provider of wealth and asset management software and infrastructure, has strengthened its senior leadership team and named financial services veteran Christopher Haley as Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Michael Sands has been hired as Vice President of Operations and Client Success, and Margaret Myers has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. The additions to the leadership team coincide with Bridge’s continued impressive advisor platform adoption with year-over-year growth of over 100 percent and platform data processing efficiency up 3X over the same period.

“After establishing a reputation as a WealthTech leader by offering advisor-centric software and expanding our capabilities around data management, enrichment and portfolio accounting, we’re excited to continue that momentum with Chris, Mike and Margaret in their new roles,” said Rasheed Hammouda, CEO/CoFounder of Bridge. “We look forward to their contributions as we further empower advisors by offering them a comprehensive suite of capabilities delivered with unparalleled efficiency.”

After serving as Bridge’s independent Board Director in 2019, Haley was unanimously appointed as Chairman of the Board this year. Haley, who is currently CEO of InsureTech startup, LegacyShield, is a seasoned operator with extensive experience as an investor, advisor, and board member of high-growth startups and WealthTech companies. His previous experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of Black Diamond in the four years of historic growth leading up to the company’s successful sale to Advent Software in 2011.

“Bridge is a dynamic, market-leading company that is experiencing explosive growth and transforming the wealthtech industry,” Haley said. “I’m excited to lead its board and serve as a strategic advisor so that I can leverage my experience working with high-growth, SaaS companies to ensure that Bridge continues to build a better advisor and executes its mission to transform data into actionable insights.”

In their new roles, Myers and Sands are responsible for setting and executing organizational strategy alongside Hammouda and CoFounders, Alan Illing and Sanjay Sharma, CTO and CPO respectively.

As VP of Operations and Client Success, Sands is tasked with ensuring Bridge’s clients continue to receive the highest level of service. Prior to Bridge, Mike was with sales intelligence platform Emissary for seven years. At Emissary, Mike led cross-functional teams in areas including operations, client engagement, sales and product, ultimately scaling the platform to over 25,000 senior executive advisors and securing investments from Google Ventures, Canaan Ventures and The New York Times.

Myers now leads all facets of advisor acquisition and partnership, working across outbound advisor sales, marketing, partnerships and enterprise business development. She started her career at Bridge in 2017 as a regional account manager and was most recently Director of Partnerships and Business Development. Prior to joining Bridge, Margaret was an Associate within Goldman Sachs’ Alternative Investment Client Services Group.
