[RIA Biz] Fidelity says humans beat robots, even for Gen Z • Joe Lonsdale’s Opto starts signing RIA test-drivers • Vanguard launches oddly delayed fund • Wealthbox hires, and Dynasty buys

Dynasty Financial Partners attracted $100 million of investment capital and now it is investing it forward, so to speak.

It just invested in start-up financial technology company BridgeFT, taking a minority stake in the data analytics and portfolio reporting software company.

Frank Coates, Dynasty’s chief technology officer, will take a seat on BridgeFT’s board.

Coates was previously one of Envestnet’s top data wranglers, serving as the Chicago giant’s co-president for data and analytics after it bought Wheelhouse Analytics in 2016. He was CEO there.
